New publication on Stapled peptide

Here, we introduce a new publication for Design and structure of stapled peptides binding to estrogen receptors from researchers at Pfizer Inc and CPC Scientific Inc ( J Am Chem Soc 2011, just accepted, http://pubs.acs.org/doi/pdf/10.1021/ja202946k).


The research team report the design of a series of novel stapled peptides which bind the co-activator peptide site of estrogen receptors.


Using a number of biophysical techniques, including crystal structure analysis of receptor �C stapled peptide complexes,they describe in detail the molecular interactions and demonstrate that all hydrocarbon staples modulate molecular recognition events.

The findings have implications in the design of stapled peptides in general.
