Senior Scientist ¨C Peptide Synthesis
We are looking for a candidate with PhD in Organic Chemistry and at least 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in organic synthesis with an emphasis on solid/solution phase peptide chemistry and a good working knowledge of analytical instrumentation including analytical methods for peptides. Candidates must have a strong background in organic chemistry and a proven track record of innovation and creativity. Prior experience in the medicinal chemistry optimization of peptide and peptidomimetic compounds is desirable. An ability to troubleshoot and address chemical, software and hardware issues is a must as are excellent organization skills and an acute attention to detail. Candidates with experience in synthesizing unusual amino acid and fluorescence dye will be given preference. Candidates must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
